A few more sites

I knew I would forget some of the freebie sites that I have signed up for.

PinchMe: This site has samples once a month at a Noon central time. Here is their link and my referral code https://www.pinchme.com/ 4PCCH

Toluna: This site has surveys after surveys and sample products, you request and wait and see if you get selected. https://us.toluna.com/

SampleSource is like PinchMe, but their samples are less frequent from what I've noticed. : https://www.samplesource.com/

Now one thing I forgot to mention is sometimes these samples take awhile to get to your home, many take 4-6  weeks after requesting and longer since you have to be approved. They do come though so be patient.
Now here are some of my favorite blogs that have the links to different sites that have brands samples.  They usually have the same samples and things, but sometimes they are different and their blogs and facebook posts are unique to the blogger.

http://thriftymommaramblings.com/

http://www.pinchingyourpennies.com/ This site I have a link already on the side of my blog.

I think I'll add their links to the side of my blog as well. I need to clean that up since some of the references for free activities are outdated.

Dietz and Watson Review for Green Mom's Meet

I was accepted to become a Mom Ambassador for  http://www.greenmomsmeet.com and was selected to sample with my group of moms. I'm still trying to form one that will meet possibly once a month to either have kids play and discuss different topics and products. Since my group is not fully formed if you want to be a part of my group (you have to be in the Henderson/Vegas area), notify me either on Facebook, my phone, or comment on this blog post. Now since it was my first meeting and sampling I don't think many of my friends understood what the party was all about and only 1 of the 80+ people I invited showed up at the park the day of the party. I was resourceful and I did pass out all of the pamphlets and coupons to friends and two others that were at the park during the meeting. The friend that showed up enjoyed the meats and cheeses and her kids did as well, one who had never tried Swiss cheese ate a slice and enjoyed it so much he asked for more. Another mom that happened to be at the park during the get together liked the fact the meat wasn't slimey. The biggest draw was that the meats had no nitrates, the second best thing was the organic selection, and the third thing that was most commented about (even with the moms that I gave samples to while waiting to pick up kids from school) was the availability of the meats and cheeses. My kids aren't big lunch meat eaters, but my youngest was enjoying slices of the organic turkey without bread. My children did enjoy the ham and turkey, and cheddar and Swiss cheese in baked crescent rolls. I enjoyed the ham, organic turkey, and the cheddar cheese. I am not a huge fan of Swiss cheese to start with and the herb turkey had a strange taste to me so it wasn't easy for me to eat. Here is a picture of the meats and cheeses that were sent to me and we haven't tried the hot dogs yet but intend to soon.

Sites that have products to try for free

Many of my friends know about the many things that I get for free and wonder how I do it. I'm not some expert couponer that saves hundreds of dollars at the store or have the stores owe me money. What I do is use a lot of sites that you take surveys when you first sign up then apply/request to sample products. You don't always get what you want just because you applied or requested a product, the sites work with brands who have specifications of the people who they want to try their products. The sites also have a ton of people wanting samples and they try to give them to those that match the brands' requests and the sites requirements. Some requirements are pictures of you using the brand and some are only a survey after you've tried them. Another common request is to "like" or "follow" the brands and the sites on different social media outlets. Some sites even have apps, which I have currently refrained from downloading because I just don't have room and also can't remember my password, I also prefer to use my phone as a device to communicate via text or an actual call. I'm not going to always post reviews and things on my blog, but I will when I feel the products deserve a shout out like the L'Oreal hair care  review. Another must is knowing the #'s and the @'s of the brands and products most sites give you what they are and you must ALWAYS mention you got your items free or at a discount. Now on to the sites, I will try to recall all of them, but I might leave out a few.

L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Review

I know my blog is usually about free or inexpensive events going on around town and at different businesses across the nation, but I also will write reviews of some products that I get free to sample thanks to different groups or sites I belong to. Today's post is going to be one of those reviews. Crowdtap is a site that has different surveys, polls, and actions that you can do in order to earn points and win gift cards to different businesses http://www.crowdtap.com is the website to create your own account if you don't already have one. I applied for the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil regimen sample mission and was picked to try their dry hair treatment (you don't always get picked but it's worth it to try). Before using the Shampoo, Conditioner and leave in serum my hair looked dry and frizzy and was pretty damaged due to hair coloring and a dry desert climate. The ads would say that even after one time using all 3 products together you'll notice a difference, I was skeptical. I put it to the test and used all 3 products and after one time my hair looked and felt healthier . Here's my before and after pictures

As you can see in the before picture my hair looked dry and frizzy. The after only one time using the L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil  shampoo, conditioner, and serum my hair looks and felt healthier. The more I use them the better my hair feels and looks. My oldest child liked the way my hair looked after one wash the threat was made that my product would be taken and used by her. I would recommend this to my friends and have since using it. If you want to try it here is a picture of the bottles I got.
