More

Every Thursday morning from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM there are stories and puppet shows downstairs at the mall in front of Kohls presented by the Henderson Libraries. Storytime Tales is fun and I'll let you all know how it is when I go.
Since it's Thursday the free movie for tonight is at Monte Lago Village and it's: Where the Wild Things Are
Farmers' Market in Downtown Henderson on Water street is Every Thursday as well. Tonight is the Third Thursday artwalk downtown as well.

Tomorrow Friday the 18th of June is free Jetty Petty Smothies for the first 500 customers wearing flip-flops at Tropical Smoothie.
Also on Friday is an chance to see Ronald McDonald in person at the McDonalds on Boulder Highway and Lake Mead starting at 6:30 PM. They also have coupons with their flyer for a $1.99 Hamburger Happy Meal. Meeting Ronald McDonald events they have prizes and usually everyone wins. Once my kids won an entire Happy Meal Wizard of Oz toy collection.
Friday June 18th the free movie tonight is at The District and it's: Planet 51
The District
also has Music on Main Street and Friday the 18th of June it's: Jeffrey Allen from 6 PM- 9PM This is a great way to support local and regional artists.

Saturday the 19th the free movie at The District is an edited version of : The Blind Side
The Music on Main Street is by The Brothers
Every Saturday Lakeshore Learning Centers
have crafts for kids from 11 AM-3 PM. This Saturday it's: a Father's Day Notepad Holder click this link to see a picture and next week's craft: http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/general_content/store_locations/storeCrafts.jsp

Other Saturday activites mostly in the morning 9AM-Noon are crafts at Lowes and Home Depot. Home Depot does their crafts the first Saturday of every month, except July. Lowes does it two Saturdays a month. Lowes next craft is a monster truck on June 26th. Their link is: https://www.lowesbuildandgrow.com/ This has pictures of the crafts, all of which are made out of wood and operate. The link for Home Depot's next craft in August is: http://www.homeimproverclub.com/workshops.aspx
Between June 5th-July 11th Bass Pro Shops has their Family Summer Camp. Every Saturday and Sunday they have activities from Noon-6PM They have activites like casting a fishing line, archery, identification of different animals and plants. Here's the link for the pictures and activities they offer: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPageC?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&appID=86326&template=schedule.cfm
They say there are crafts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but instore the schedule does not have them, only on Saturdays and maybe Sundays are the actual crafts. The free workshops and activities are also on Tuesday and Thursdays. Bass Pro Shop is connected with The Silverton where they have an Aquarium that on certain days and times a mermaid can be spotted.
Also don't forget the awesome Bellagio Bontanical Gardens free display, it would be a fun group trip with friends.
Another fun weekend activity, not free but reasonable, is riding an actual train at the Nevada Railroad Museum the link for directions is: http://www.nsrm-friends.org/ The rides are every 40 minutes starting at 10 AM-4 PM Adults are $5 and Children (4-11) $3

Looking to expand my search of fun Local events I came upon this link that lists Free an inexpensive activites for all locals and vistors as well. http://www.vegas4locals.com/lasvegasevents.html

Ashley you should have your sister give you the library info (or e-mail it to me). I unerstand the feeling though about finding out too late, one of the reasons I'm doing this is to also help me remember as well.
