Next Thursday the 24th the Fratello Marionettes will be doing three fairy tales, I plan on going. Thursday July 1 will be Artic Tales
July 8: Puppet Show
July 15th PBS Keeping Kids Fit! (my kids love PBS kids)
July 22: Puppet Show

The Music on Main Street is by The Brothers
Since the weekend is usually when people decide to splurge and go out to eat I wanted to add my eating out deals. I am a self proclaimed fast food junkie, too much of one but I use coupons and survey codes to keep it as cheap as possible. First tip: that I have is if you have a favorite eating out location take part of their loyalty programs, they send straight to your mailbox, inbox, cell phone, wall post whereever you allow them to discounts to their place of business. Also become a Fan on facebook for deals. Most have birthday programs so you can celebrate your birthay with food you enjoy eating that you usually cut back on other days. Second tip: always check your reciept for a survery. If there is a survey, take it! Capriottis you get $3 off your next sandwich, which if you only get the small is 50% off. Panda Express you get a free entree when you buy a three item combo. My sister tipped me off about this trick with Panda, you can order a two-item combo and the third item can be your kids' item. Sonic you get a code for a free route 44 soda. Pick Up Stix you get a free appetizer up to $6. Some surveys you only are helping the employees when you call and take it, so if your friend works there and you call you give your friend good reviews. Also with this tip go to the companies website and leave a message about some of their products and they might send you special coupons you wouldn't have gotten otherwise. I did this when I had an issue with a promotion at a fast food place, I didn't get a coupon right away, but I did later in the mail get two coupons to get a free food item. We as consumers are the ones that keep places in business, they want our feedback. Third tip: just look at the ads and coupons in the mail, throw out the ones you won't use at all and keep the ones you will. Taco Bell had coupons for free regular sized drinks of their new products, along with the normal buy1get1 free. Smiths had a sale where you bought 10 utems on the list you get a Free Digital choice code to use. I got 2 free movie tickets from that, up to $12. They also have a stand that you buy three items from you get a code to rent a movie for a night from Redbox. Fourth tip: check your friends' pages and blogs, word of mouth is a quick way to spread the news about free goodies. Fifth tip: Kids Eat Free many resturants now have nights that kis eat free. Panda Express, Quiznos, Dennys, and IHOP as far as I'm aware every night kids eat free with a purchase of an adult meal, drinks are not included. There are others and I'll look them up and write about them later, it's late/early now so I'll stop and post a reminder to read about the deals on Facebook.
Except I remembered I wanted to write about the Galleria Mall has a free program, that I thought was the same thing as the library's Storytime Tales, called Fun at Sun Kids Club the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 10:30 AM in the food court. Also at the Galleria is The Ends of The Earth exhibit and they have group rates of 15 or more $2, you have to call ahead though. This is brought to us by http://HendersonLive.com they have a ton of other events some Free some not. The link is the best place to see what they have. I might post some of their concert series events as well.

I will repost the movies again so the lists will get shorter, but I know I enjoy seeing the entire list so I can plan on seeing certain movies on the grass rather than paying in a theatre or a rental. The next list is the movies that are further away at Town Square Mall. These movies are every 1st and 3rd Thursdays and have already started. They are in the center area outside as well and they are in the park. They start when it gets dark. The link is: http://www.townsquarelasvegas.com/events-a-programs.html

Monte Lago Village is a fun place to go for a walk and they have free Jazz every Saturday night the link for that is: http://www.montelagovillage.com/events-activities/jazz-on-the-lake
Since 97.1 The Point is sponsoring it you never know what give-aways or goodies they could have for going to the show.
Now if you don't want to go out and feel you own the best movie screen and want to stay home if you become a fan on Facebook of Redbox they have a free code to rent a movie for one night only on June 21st, next Monday. Today some of the movies I wanted to see in the theatres became available to rent at Redbox, but I'm holding out until next week to rent them. Another Redbox freebie is when you buy a 10 or 20 piece chicken nuggets at McDonalds you get a Shrek code and you have a choice between one of three rewards. My choice was a Redbox code every time. This ends June 30th I think, I'll double check it might be June 21st. With Redbox you can checkout a movie from one location and return it to another one without being charged any extra. A side note about McDonalds is that heard they $1 anysized sodas will last until the fall, September I think.
OK now that the Movies are done I'll stop since this is a long post, but keep checking back for more freebies.

Nice and long list for the District, what's fun is you can go eat or shop then go treat the kids to a movie for behaving.
June17: Monsters Vs. Aliens (PG)
July 1: Back to the Future (PG)
August 5: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (PG)
August 19: Bolt (PG)
Also at Town Square they have stories every Wednesday from 11 Am-12 PM in the play area.
The last place for Free movies is at the Monte Lago Village at Lake Las Vegas. Their movies are every Thursday night near the lake and seem to be more geared for teens. The link is: http://www.montelagovillage.com/events-activities/movies-al-fresco
June 17: Where the Wild Things Are
June 24: Willy Wonka (not sure which one)
July 1: Star Trek

July 22: Goonies
July 29: 2010
August 5: New Moon
August 12: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
August 19: Up!
August 26: Wizard of OZ
Trying something new
As times are tough I've come to the realization that I need to help in one way or another. Since I'm not entirely qualified for a full time job with the skills that I have I am going to post about free or semi-free deals that I find out about around the Las Vegas Valley. I will be posting reminders on Facebook the day of a free event to look her to see. I will also have links to look at the actual website the information comes from if people want to look ahead. As some might notice on the side of my blog will now be Ads for different things. I have agreed to have my blog have these Ads in an effort to earn a bit of extra money. I figured I'm already giving away free advertising for different resturants, theatres, the library, ect... I might as well earn some money, especially since I haven't found a job that allows me to inform all my friends about what's going on around town or found a single website that has the ease to find the information. I might not have everything on here that interests people, but if you do find out about some free event or free food send me a message and I'll post as soon as I find out and you can send people here to get all the info. Unless like me you have no issues with e-mailing everyone in your contact list or calling everyone in your cell when there's free food at a resturant or a coupon you can get when you go to their website. I will be laying out the different events that are free for children first since that is where my majority of friends and I am at in life right now, then free food, and lastly any great deals for locals at different shows. This is the introduction post, the next one will have all the goodies.
